On Wednesday, Year 6 spent the day at  Box Hill completing a Geography Fieldwork Investigation into the Impact of Tourism on the area.

The children learned that there is a conflict of interest on Box Hill between the need to protect the area and allowing people to visit.   The children went to five different locations around Box Hill to investigate A.C.R.E (Access, Conservation, Recreation and Education) and to complete an Environmental Impact Survey.  They also completed a transect of a footpath to see the impact of footpath trampling.
